The developer reports Windows functional testing and Microsoft Defender custom scans with no threats detected. Optional online AI services require separate configuration and may carry third-party charges. Keep local WORKSPACE backups and learner information private.

Installation, release integrity and teacher guidance

Developer validation: Windows functional testing was reported complete; Microsoft Defender custom scans reported no threats. These checks are not a guarantee of safety and do not constitute independent malware certification.

Windows installation: Extract the entire ZIP to a writable folder. Run CompetencyAssessmentUnifiedSuite.exe and choose START: TQ + TOS / Teacher Workspace. No separate Python installation is needed. Use a spreadsheet editor for bulk-response templates.

Data privacy: Keep your WORKSPACE, learner results, backups and any API keys private. Back up before migrating to another PC. Optional online AI features may transmit user-provided material to a configured third-party service and may incur separate charges.

Documentation note: The v5.2.0 distribution includes teacher guides containing older v5.1 RC headings. The original developer-tested release ZIP is unchanged; this issue is disclosed in the GitHub release notes.
